Professional Biography

Prof. Yaron Har-Shai is a senior expert in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and a highly respected academic leader. He brings over 30 years of experience, having served as the head of Plastic Surgery Departments at Carmel and Lin Medical Centers. Leads an active clinic at Elisha Hospital in Haifa.

Education and Contributions

Graduate of the Ruth and Baruch Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Prof. Har-Shai is an active faculty member.

After completing his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, he pursued extensive professional fellowships in the USA, Canada, and Europe. His areas of focus included aesthetic surgery of the face and body, reconstructive surgery, and cryosurgery.

Prof. Har-Shai has developed numerous innovative and groundbreaking surgical techniques. He has published over 120 original articles in basic science and clinical research. His contributions are featured in chapters of leading textbooks in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery.
